Feeling very privileged to have spent the last few days in some of New York City’s most inspirational ‘charter’ schools. Not only has this been an incredibly positive experience, it has also reinforced the importance of the vital work we do so well in the LAT each and every day.

Our Year 5/6 indoor rowing team had a fabulous time at Plymouth Life Centre this afternoon. They showed great team spirit and supported each other brilliantly. They gave it their all and there were certainly some ‘wobbly legs’ on the way home! Great effort!
Our FS2 & KS1 military children thoroughly enjoyed their treat this afternoon going to @theatreroyalplymouth to watch The Three Little Pigs 🐷 Thank you so much @futurefittraining @mkc.heroes

♻️Jacob was so inspired by our Eco Warriors Global Recycling Day assembly, he borrowed some of our community litter pickers and did his own litter litter pick.. Well done Jacob🤩 We’ll have a lovely clean community in no time. #togetherwecan @plymouthcitycouncil @CleanOurPatch
Our Eco Warriors led our assembly for Global recycling day & will send an email out with this year’s recycling survey. We would be grateful if everyone could complete it, so we see how well we are doing in our bid to become a single use plastic free school. ♻️ #TogetherWeCan
We had a great assembly with @tomdaley mum. She shared Tom’s journey to becoming an Olympian and how important it is to dream big and aim high and how hard work, works. #lifegoals #dreambigworkhard

The next part of our KS2 @mkc.heroes workshop involved a visit to @theboxplymouth sound gallery which all the children found very relaxing and informative. ☺️
Our MKC children are enjoying their visit to @theboxplymouth starting their art workshop with Sophie by exploring the exhibits. We had a few favourites which might include a certain woolly mammoth 🦣 @mkc.heroes #militarykids
