We have a range of experience covering both HR, recruitment and school office management with all of the team either having completed or working towards Chartered Institute of Professional Development qualifications. Supporting employee wellbeing
Wellbeing at Work – We are passionate about wellbeing and this feeds into every aspect of our work. We are building a strong benefits offering and creatively think how we can best support our people to thrive and flourish in the workplace. We achieved the Bronze Wellbeing Award through Livewell Southwest in January 2020 which demonstrates our commitment as an employer to support and develop the culture within our schools to become a healthier workplace. We are working towards the Silver Award with a focus on three key areas:

- Sleep & Recovery
- Physical activity, healthy eating and healthier weight
Rewards & Recognition
We produce an employee newsletter called LAT Chat, out every half term. Packed full of useful information and benefits, it also celebrates colleagues across the Trust, through an award scheme. Every half term, a Trust employee is awarded the LAT Star Award and £20 M&S voucher. All staff can nominate a colleague to celebrate the good work going on in schools, with all nominations listed in LAT Chat.
We provide support to employees and senior leaders to ensure issues are properly managed and resolved in a timely, amicable manner. We have an excellent collaborative working relationship with local trade union representatives and encourage union involvement.
Through our effective recruitment process, we ensure that our vacancies are reaching a wide range of talented individuals, to attract them to positions within the Trust. Our proven methods ensure that Senior Leaders have a strong pool of candidates to shortlist from for each vacancy and can place high quality candidates into schools to support our children.
We liaise with finance and payroll teams to ensure the smooth processing of payroll each month, managing updates and changes to pay seamlessly.
We report to the Learning Academies Trust Board and school Leadership Teams to support strategic planning and decisions.
