Adrian is an experienced construction professional with a career spanning 50 years working in the public and private sector.

With an HND in Building and subsequently an Honours Degree in Estate Management his early career commenced with Devon County Council Property Services Department. Here he became responsible for the maintenance, adaptation, and refurbishment of an extensive portfolio of school and college facilities.

Following 10 years, working in the public sector, Adrian moved into private practice, where he has since gained extensive experience, delivering professional consultancy services, across a wide range of operational sectors and property types, supporting and advising clients in both the corporate and public sectors.

During this time, Adrian held several senior Director level positions, working within both regional and international consultancies. Most recently he established a new, locally based, multidisciplinary practice, specialising in the provision of Building Surveying and Project Management services.

Throughout his career he has worked extensively within the education sector, providing consultancy support both locally and nationally. He has developed expertise in field of strategic asset management and in particular the management and maintenance of education building portfolios.

Since being invited to become a Director of the LAT in 2018, Adrian has become the estates lead on the board. Working together with the LAT team, much work has and continues to be done to ensure that the LAT has in place the estates management personnel, systems and procedures that will enable the LAT to provide the best possible teaching and learning environment attainable with the resources available.
