As a Learning Academies Trust Director Andy Robinson sits on both the Finance and Personnel and the Full Board. He is currently chair of the Audit Committee and Safeguarding board liaison. Prior to pursuing a career in Medicine, he gained a wealth of business and financial acumen; qualifying as a chartered accountant with Pricewaterhousecoopers. As a Business Assurance Manger, he gained experience with clients across diverse commercial sectors and developed also International internal audit knowledge with two UK Public Limited Companies. As a current Paediatric Consultant in Emergency Medicine at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust he is passionate about children in Plymouth receiving outstanding health and education services whatever their starting point or background.
