Annmarie Allchurch has been Headteacher at Mount Wise Community Primary since 2022. Prior to that, she was the Headteacher of St Andrew’s CE (VA) Primary, an outstanding Plymouth school. Before becoming a Headteacher, Annmarie was an Education Adviser with Plymouth Local Authority, supporting schools in challenging circumstances, working with both Senior and Middle Leaders across the city. In recognition of this work and her role as an Improving Schools Programme Advisor, Annmarie was designated as a Local Consultant for Improvement (LCI) by The National Strategies.

Annmarie is committed to improving the education and life chances of pupils in Plymouth and believes that a rich and diverse curriculum is paramount to this.
