Strategic Plan

Strategic Plan Introduction
The MAT improvement plan builds on a programme of activity involving a wide group of LAT stakeholders who came together in Summer ’25 to review the previous year’s work and to plan priorities for 25/26 and beyond. The development group consisted of a selection of members, trustees, local school governing body chairs and headteachers, as well as the LAT’s executive leadership team. As well as reviewing last year, we collectively agreed a range of overarching strategic priorities, including some very fine detailed wording of some of which is included in the strategic plan. Following on from that incredibly powerful stakeholder session, the LAT’s executive leadership team have been consolidating and refining the stakeholder groups work into an overarching document, with some very clear SMART targets for our collective work across the coming year.  The completed plan has been shared with our stakeholders and provides a focus for taking our MAT improvement work forward.
Our Three Strategic Strands
Our three strategic strands are not standalone initiatives — they are deeply embedded across all our Trust priorities and form the foundation of our collective vision. These strands guide decision-making, shape our school improvement strategies, and influence every aspect of our organisational development.
