Cameron Lancaster is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Learning Academies Trust, where he plays a key strategic role in leading school improvement, educational excellence and organisational development across the Trust’s family of schools. Drawing on extensive leadership experience across Plymouth and his leadership within the Learning Academies Trust, Cameron has a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing schools and communities in the city and beyond.

Passionate about improving life chances for all children, Cameron is particularly committed to supporting the most vulnerable pupils and ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to a high-quality education and the support they need to thrive. He provides strategic leadership across areas including school improvement, inclusion, attendance, safeguarding and pupil outcomes, working closely with school leaders, trustees, governors and external partners to drive continuous improvement and excellence.

Alongside his role within the Trust, Cameron serves as an Ofsted Inspector, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of schools across the South West of England. He brings a wealth of expertise in educational leadership, having previously served as an Executive Headteacher and Headteacher within the Trust, where he led significant improvements in standards, culture and outcomes.

With a proven track record of leading change and securing sustainable improvement, Cameron remains dedicated to ensuring that every school within the Trust delivers the highest standards of education, care and opportunity for the children and communities it serves.
