Prior to the merger of LAT and Horizon in 2023, Andrew had been a Trustee for Horizon MAT since 2019, and previously a local authority governor for Victoria Road Primary School between 2009 and 2019.

Andrew started work for DML (now Babcock) at Devonport Royal Dockyard in 2000 on a graduate scheme and has worked in a number of roles in senior leadership positions supporting the Royal Navy’s Nuclear Powered Submarines. Currently Andrew is a Plant Manager responsible for the Nuclear Fuel Handling Facilities at Devonport.

Andrew is a chartered radiation protection professional and is a member of the Society for Radiological Protection, and the Association for Project Management.

Andrew was born and raised in Plymouth and currently lives in the North of the City with his wife, two children, and dog.
